Giving access to Meta (Facebook) Ad Manager can be a pain at the best of times. Meta has become too big for it's own good and as such it can often send you through rabbit holes to find where you need to provide user access. Here is how to give access to Meta Ad Manager.
- Go to Ads Manager settings. You may be asked to re-enter your password.
- Under Ad account roles, select Add people.
- Enter the name or email address of the person you want to give access to.
- Use the drop-down menu to choose their role. The following are the available roles:
- Admin: This person has full access to your ad account, including the ability to create and edit ads, manage budgets, and track results.
- Editor: This person can create and edit ads, but they cannot manage budgets or track results.
- Viewer: This person can only view ads and reports.
- Click Confirm.
The person you add will have immediate access to your ad account according to the role you chose for them. You can always change their permissions or remove them from your ad account by selecting Remove user that's next to their name.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when giving access to your Meta Ad Manager:
- Only give access to people you trust.
- Be clear about the level of access you are giving them.
- Keep an eye on your ad account activity and make sure there are no unauthorised changes.
We hope this helps!
